Terms of purchase
Validity
By making a purchase from Havus Eva Pettersson Kommanditbolag, the following agreement between the customer (you), with a minimum age of 18 years, and the trader (Havus Eva Pettersson Kommanditbolag) is legally binding until further notice. For other types of agreements, please contact us before completing your purchase.
Delivery
Digital goods are downloaded via the website. For physical goods, the estimated delivery time is stated on the product page. The delivery time cannot be guaranteed, as it is only an estimated approximation. Shipping costs vary but are always shown before payment.
For orders delivered to Norway or the United Kingdom, import/customs duties may apply.
For uncollected parcels, you will be charged 400 SEK for incurred costs. To avoid this fee, always collect your order within the time frame given by your post office or parcel company for pick-up. When your order is handed over to the shipping company, you will receive an email from me with any tracking numbers. All orders are trackable and insured, unless otherwise stated in the order confirmation.
Physical books are delivered via Publit, where their delivery terms apply.
Right of withdrawal
Digital goods and products made to the customer's specifications have no right of withdrawal. This includes reprints of fabrics and scarves and print-on-demand books as all products are produced for each individual customer by a third party – See CottonBees' terms and conditions here and Publits’ terms and conditions here
There is no right of withdrawal or cancellation for orders of fabric reprints via cottonbee. The exception is individual men's scarves sent by me via PostNord.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact Havus within 14 days of receiving the product. As the customer, you are responsible for the return shipping costs and ensuring the product is returned to me. Lost returns will not be refunded, so please choose a trackable/insured shipping option. Never send a return until you have received confirmation that it has been approved. Refunds will only be issued for unused, undamaged products and will only cover the cost of the product, not the shipping. Businesses do not have the right to return goods.
By accepting this agreement, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of newly printed products.
Complaint
You have the right to make a complaint about a product for 3 years (within Sweden) and for 2 years (in the rest of the EU). The fault must be reported as soon as possible or as soon as it should have been discovered. Reporting a fault with the product within two (2) months is always considered to be within a reasonable time. The retailer must prove that the fault was not present from the outset during the first six (6) months; thereafter, it is the customer who must prove that the fault was present from the outset or is due to a manufacturing defect. You must notify us that the item is faulty and describe the nature of the fault. Havus Eva Pettersson Kommanditbolag will provide the customer with return instructions.
Personal data
Havus Eva Pettersson Kommanditbolag is responsible for the processing of personal data that you as a customer provide to me. Your personal data will be processed by Havus Eva Pettersson Kommanditbolag to administer the customer relationship. Neither personal data nor e-mail addresses will be disclosed to an independent party. Read more about my privacy policy here.
Licence and usage
Your purchase of a digital product grants you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable licence to download and access the product for your own personal use.
For commercial use of books, you must contact me first to obtain permission.
For commercial use of fabrics & scarves from KOMUDESIGNS, please contact info [at] komudesigns.com for permission.
Intellectual property
Books
All intellectual property rights and copyright contained therein are, and shall always remain, the sole and exclusive property of Havus Eva Pettersson. You agree that you shall not – whether or not the product has been modified – attempt to claim ownership of any intellectual property rights or copyright in the product.
Dresses and scarves and sewing-related digital products

Products with the license 
BY-SA in the licence information is an exception as these fall under the same licence as the original media.
Force majeure
In the event of war, natural disaster, industrial action, government decisions, non-delivery from subcontractors, cost-increasing circumstances, and comparable events beyond our control which could not reasonably have been foreseen and which affect entered-into agreements and commitments from Havus Eva Pettersson Kommanditbolag, which mean that Havus Eva Pettersson Kommanditbolag cannot uphold the aforementioned agreement/commitment, this shall constitute grounds for Havus Eva Pettersson Kommanditbolag to be released from its obligation to fulfil the aforementioned agreement.
